Tenuta La Nocellara began with a promise to my father-in-law: not to abandon the family olive trees in Sicily.
Our life was in Milan. My wife and I married there, and my father-in-law also lived in the city. But his thoughts returned to the olive trees in Sicily: he feared that after his death, no one would care for them.
The first harvest, a new beginning
I came from the hotel industry and knew nothing about olives. When, after his death, I travelled to Sicily for my first harvest, I fell in love with the land, the sun and the aromas of olive oil.
That was the beginning. I wanted to discover this world, keep learning and turn that passion into exceptional olive oil.
A promise we carry forward together
Today my family supports me and helps the business grow. Tenuta La Nocellara began as a personal promise and became a shared project: caring for the family olive trees and sharing the quality and aromas of our Sicily.
